From its inception,

Link Care Services

has put the user – the dependent person or professional caregiver - at the heart of its development.

From 2006, the similar experiences of the company’s co-founders led them to an innovative solution to assist dependent people and those who care for them. From 2007 to 2008, an in-depth study of the needs of dependent people was conducted among care professionals (doctors, geriatricians, psychiatrists, care facility directors), public authorities (general and regional councils, municipal authorities) and associations.

The results of this study quickly led to :

  • The writing of behaviour scenarios and algorithms of risk situations for dependent people, particularly those affected by Alzheimer’s disease;
  • A focus on the only medium that can immediately confirm a problem without human intervention: video.

Algorithms were then loaded into servers capable of simultaneously processing hundreds of live camera feeds in real time to detect falls and other events requiring quick intervention. Since then, our teams have continued to compile possible scenarios to detect an increasingly diverse range of risk situations in greater detail and to fine tune operability with complementary systems.

Link Care Services
is the first company on the international market to offer a fully stand-alone, accessory-free solution which protects dependent people and provides caregiver relief : EDAO.
