On May 3, 2010, Link Care Services and EDAO won the Trophée du Grand Age in the “Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases initiative” category for its innovative, gerontechnology-based system for people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, designed for patient safety and caregiver relief. The Trophées du Grand Age competition was created by Gérontechnologie.net to publicize and award top initiatives and developments that improve the lives of the elderly. The 2010 edition was sponsored by Nora Berra, France’s Secretary of State for the Elderly.
